PumpSwap

Updated OCTOBER 6, 2026· Fullport Capital

Definition

pump.fun vs PumpSwap is not a choice between two coins: pump.fun is the launchpad where a new coin trades on a bonding curve, and PumpSwap is pump.fun's own pool where the same coin trades after it graduates. On PumpSwap the price comes from the pool's SOL and token balances, and the migrated liquidity is locked by burning the LP tokens.

Fee figures are as cited in Fullport's fill policy; the venue sets its own rates on-chain.

The coin is the same token either way; what changes is the market it trades in. What is PumpSwap? covers the pool's fees and mechanics in depth, and graduation the handover between the two.

Trading a PumpSwap coin#

A pool is still a formula, so your order still moves the price. The difference from an early curve is usually depth: a coin that has just graduated carries the whole curve's SOL into its pool, so the same dollar order tends to move it less.

Liquidity can also be added to a pool after migration, and burnt LP tokens keep the migrated liquidity in place. Holder checks still matter; see rug pull.

On a Fullport account, PumpSwap coins are tradeable alongside curve-stage pump.fun coins, priced from a fresh read of the pool with PumpSwap's own fee, a network fee, the 1% platform fee and your impact. Trade them in the browser terminal or with Fullport Tap, and keep 80% of payouts; the fill policy lists the source for each stage.

Quick answers

What is the difference between pump.fun and PumpSwap?
pump.fun is the launchpad, where a new coin trades on a bonding curve. PumpSwap is pump.fun's AMM, where the same coin trades after its curve completes and its liquidity migrates into a pool with burnt LP tokens.
Can Fullport accounts trade PumpSwap coins?
Yes. pump.fun coins are tradeable on both the bonding curve and, after graduation, their PumpSwap pool. Each order is priced from a fresh on-chain read of the pool with the venue fee and your price impact charged.
Does a coin's address change when it moves to PumpSwap?
No. Graduation moves the coin's liquidity, not the token itself, so the contract address stays the same and still ends in pump. Only the market it trades in changes, from the bonding curve to the PumpSwap pool.
